Coach Rice has been training Brazilian Jiu Jitsu since 2010 and currently holds a Black Belt. He believes that BJJ is the foundation of self-defense and can save lives when applied with the correct mental and physical training. In addition to self-defense, it’s a great way to stay in shape and build life applicable skills. Coach Rice believes that everyone is unique and tries to tailor his teaching to meet students where they are regardless of experience or ability. When he’s not teaching BJJ his hobbies include vacationing in the mountains, playing golf, watching his girls play sports and spontaneous trips with his wife!
